Proceeds from the 2009 Mardi Gras Will Help Fund: Renovations and Technological Enhancements to the Pharmacy Department at Civista Medical Center

Proceeds from the 18th Annual Mardi Gras Ball will help fund the renovations and technological enhancements to the Pharmacy Department at Civista. The expansion features an improved physical space, automated drug dispensing cabinets, enhanced technology and other patient-focused services. And because forward-thinking hospital administrators made plans for the infrastructure of a pneumatic tube "super station" during the hospital's recent expansion, the pharmacy is preparing to function as a hub in the innovative delivery system to further ensure rapid transport of medications to caregivers at inpatient and ambulatory sites.
